• Peacework, a non-profit Virginia based organization, specializes in providing complete land arrangements for volunteer service experiences around the world for groups from schools, universities, churches, civic, and professional organizations.

• Customized projects typically include basic improvements and renovations to orphanages, children's homes, and schools in over twenty countries.  Other projects focus on specific academic or professional services, education and tutoring, as well as direct medical care in selected locations.  Peacework provides comprehensive on-site support including all accommodations, meals, local transportation, interpreters where needed, cultural programs, materials, supplies, liability and health insurance, and complete document services for groups of volunteers traveling abroad.
